fridays, of course.
even though I apparently forgot to set the alarm and over-slept.
wasn't late for work though, even had time to stop at starbucks.
eyes are little more puffy than usual but whatevs.
it's friday and nothing is going to bring my mood down.
not even my coworker who called in sick for the umpteenth time.
or the fact that my coffee cake was a little stale.
or my other coworker who was apparently offended by the fact that I didn't want to book or buy
the beaded jewelry she's starting to sell.
I'm really getting tired of all these different "parties". I don't mind supporting some one
if I like the product but I don't wear a watch let alone a big beaded one.
I don't wear Cabi clothes or don't think that Pampered Chef is any better then the kitchen stuff
I buy at a local retailer.
I hope I'm not offending you if you do sell any of these items.
But I don't like some one trying to sell me something I'm just not into.
I always kindly pass the first time I'm asked but when I'm constantly nagged, I get agitated.
hmph. guess this subject has put a slight damper in my day.
well, that's done now.
onto what else this girl is loving right now.
new blue shirt that hides ye ol muffin top.
These design posts...
I'm loving bright white walls with pops of bright color. Thinking of all the rooms upstairs in my home.
Desire to Inspire....LOVE how she displays her old camera collection.

This farewell post bring tears to my eyes especially knowing that my sweet friend is nearing the end.
Sharon Montrose Photography
Chalkboard art. I must have one of these.
This mantra...
This photographer. So unconventional and fun. I would book him in a heartbeat if I could afford to.
Dahlias. These beauties have jumped to number one in my favs. Peonies are now a close second.
lastly, this girl loves you...my readers. :)
Leave me some love and I'll choose a winner for the dahlia print above.
have a great one!
I'm loving all the links. Very cute bedroom indeed with the cameras.
Happy Friday!

oh, I so know that feeling at work - except with me it was food items like tastefully simple, girl scout cookies (ok, I broke down on those - who doesn't love a samoa?), band candy, debate club cookie dough, and on and on and on. I realize schools need money but I don't have anyone but me and I don't need all that food in my house.
I can't wait to stroll through the link garden you set up here.
have a great weekend lovie.

Happy Friday! I used to be one of those people and I tried SO hard to not pressure people into buying or doing parties! I did CTMH, and it was fun, but I didn't want to make people feel the way you described above! That's not a good way to do it, anyway! Love the new shirt! And...the chalkboard is awesome and you totally do need one!

I've started collecting old cameras for my daughter, 3 total now. I'll have to send her the link to Desire to Inspire. Also, love all your photographs.

yeah, that gets on my nerves, too. It's ok to ask once..b/c you never know who might love what you are selling. BUt, after that you should make a mental note in your head who said no and not ask again. I mean, you know what she sells..I am sure if you ever get in the mood to suddenly start wearing watches, especially beaded ones, she will be the first person you will come to. lol
Love the photos and the other things that make you happy.
Have a wonderful weekend.

I love the picture, it reminds me of my grandfather. His mom loved them and planted them every year and my grandfather and his brothers had to dig up the bulbs at the end of the summer and they stored them in their cellar so they could plant them the next year. My parents were divorced and I lived next door to my grandfather until I got married and moved away, so he was like a father to me. One year I planted the bulbs in my yard and grew some wonderful dahlias and that is when he told me the story. It was funny because he never grew them when I was growing up, I guess he had enough of digging up the bulbs :)

Tina, thought I better post today since I've been stalking your blog for quite a while now! I love many of the things you do including: Ina Garten and her teeny husband Jeffery, Studio Calico, photography, and shirts that hide my muffin top! I wish I could meet you someday and have a chat over coffee and non-stale coffee cake! PS, Cabi is a bummer...

I know what you mean about pushy sellers. I don't mind being asked once, but over and over again gets old. I love that collection of old cameras! Love your blog and photos. I hope you have a relaxing weekend! =)

I love your photos you share and your posts. It's always nice when you think you're running late but yet you still have time to stop for some coffee. I looove that dahlia picture! Dahlias are my favorite flower.

Oh, I love, love, love the mantra you found, if I only were able to actually stick with it...The dahlia picture is great, so atmospheric! And I love your August SC gallery. It would be so great if you would post them on your blog as well & maybe add some notes on how you did the LOs but I reckon that would be so much work.
