Did you all have a nice St. Pat's day?
Lot's of meat and potatoes and green beer?
We didn't grub but that doesn't mean we didn't celebrate.
St. Pat's day will always be a special day for us.
You can read why in this post from last year.
Yep, last day spent with the fertility specialist.
Sometimes I feel sad he wasn't made the old fashion way.
Almost like the "love" was taken away from the experience.
But in retrospect, there was probably more love shared that day than any other in all those years of trying to conceive.
I won't get into now but I do hope those who are having difficulties trying, don't give up your hopes. Just give up the stress and pressure we put on ourselves in the baby race. It's unnecessary and makes the situation less about love.
Onto girl loves.
How awesome and true is this? found here.
I almost never post a photo without a link. It's the right thing to do and with all the photo sharing sites out there, it's easy to get carried away with posting gems that don't belong to us.
Be kind and give credit.
This Nike quote found on this photog's blog. You can read the full version here but I particularly love the end. Nothing like an inspirational quote to get you going. It brought me the biggest smile. I'm loving all this positivity around me.
Sooner or later, you start taking yourself seriously. You know when you need a break. You know when you need a rest. You know what to get worked up about and what to get rid of. And you know when it’s time to take care of yourself, for yourself. To do something that makes you stronger, faster, more complete.
Because you know it’s never too late to have a life. And never too late to change one.
JUST DO IT -Nike
This song is on repeat right now. I also love the Knife's original version as well.
Happy Weekend friends. xot.
I'm glad you finally said it - "let go and it will happen". I know i tried to explain it to you a couple years ago and i also know that everytime i heard it, i wanted to KILL the person that said it (and i'm sure you wanted to kill me at the time!), but it seems that's really how it happens for most of us who have tried for forever (and i'm not saying it works for everyone because i understand that some people simply can NOT have children for whatever reason). I could tell you had given up (not really physically trying, but in your mind you were like if it's meant to be it will happen) when you started really looking into doing something serious with your photography and i waited knowing it would happen!
That's how it happened with me. I had a reunion coming up and was like screwed this trying to get pregnant thing and all this heartache for a bit, i'm going to get into awesome shape for my reunion. I started working out everynight and like two months later i was pregnant and HUGE for my reunion :) But it was all worth it!!!! Maybe I'll be a size 2 or 4 again someday. Until then, i'm a happy mom trying to stay a size 6 (although lately some 8s have been creeping in);o)
Your Tyler is precious!!! Love him up, they don't stay little for long! My Tyler is 7 now :( And after another 3 three of trying which included a major surgery for endo removal and being put in menopause with monthly shots to keep it from growing back while i healed enough to start trying again, i have little Dylan who is 2. It goes even faster with the second one!!
Hugs!

Thanks for this post. We're having trouble conceiving & sometimes I just need to relax, and just let it be.

Super adorable = Baby Tyler! Yeah, I second to your comment about HOPE & giving up STRESS. Baby Hannah is now almost 10 months and she is so worth those 8 yrs of entering fertility clinic door(s). We plan to work on Baby#2 later this year and keeping our fingers crossed & with High HOPES in our hearts again.
